Max pulled his NG-tube out again yesterday. I
hate having to reinsert that thing – almost as much as Max hates having it inserted. Any tape strong enough to keep it in a stable position is too strong for the tender skin on his face. He has lesions on his right cheek from the tube he just pulled out. We put the new one back in his left nostril. We were also out of the unweighted 6.5FR tubes, so we had to put in a larger diameter 8.0FR tube. FYI - 1.0FR (French Unit) = .33mm.
Now Max whistles when he breathes because of the size of the tube in his sinus.

Max is still having trouble keeping all feeds down. He continues to have
emesis at least once per day. :-(
