I'm so used to reporting about eventful days, that it's weird to post what went on today:
Nothing.
Seriously, nothing.
Max slept ALL DAY, through three diaper changes and temperature takings. I was there from 09:00 to 15:30 and aside from the occasional grunt and stretch, Our Boy was zonked out. Temperature was 99.6 this morning and by the time I left it was 98.2.
I did manage to use my time effectively, mastering levels 4 and 5 of Bubble Bash, my new iPhone game.
Dr. D. popped in early this morning to say hello and give me a Max update -- which was nothing, really, aside from his speculation that Max has/had either a UTI or an ear infection. Cultures should come back tomorrow or Sunday.
I hope Phoo takes some good pix tonight b/c Max looks good!
Oh wait! There is some significant info: Max' platelets yesterday were 43,000! It's the highest number ever! I don't think it was that high even when he was getting regular transfusions.
Unless something significant happens this weekend, we probably won't post until Sunday or Monday. Let's toast to an uneventful weekend -- CHEERS!

ReplyDeleteJust to let you know SOMEONE besides family reads the blog. It's helpful to keep up on what's going on for the family so that Chris doesn't have to repeat the stories to entire Team here at TI. Having been the oldest of 4 when my mom had the last baby who was a 'special' child (CP, hemorraging of my mom, and intestinal surgery at 3 days old), I understand the trials, tribulations, and family concerns.
