July 16 - A good day....

Max had a pretty good day. He was alert and awake nearly the whole time. Phoo is at the hospital now and says Max is out cold. I had to leave the hospital early, around 14:30, to go to our post office and do some much needed grocery shopping. I know Max had PT at 16:30, which could explain why he's pooped.

Dr. D. popped in to say nothing remarkable was found on Max' chest x-ray. There's scarring from being intubated, etc., but not much else to report. The only change Dr. D. is making now concerns his food. He wants to find some happy medium between the slow, continuous feed that seems to work really well w/ Max' gagging issues, and the more compressed 1.5 hour feedings which allow him time to be more jiggle-able in the between-times. We're scared to do too much with him while he's eating because lots of movement = upchuck.
