May 29 - Early Evening

17:55 – Max had blood again in his 17:00 diaper, so he's being taken off milk for now and changed his feeds to "predigested" formula. Now waiting on the 21:00 blood gas to find out if Max will have to be re-intubated.

As an aside, today was originally Max' scheduled arrival date...(!!!)

I managed to sneak in a photo without all of the medical apparatus while they were switching from ventilator to CPAP. Unfortunately, he still had adhesive on his face from all of the medical tape. I'll fix that in Photoshop later. ;-)

    He's absolutely beautiful. I did know your delivery date was today. I had it in my agenda, and thought of all of you.

    He's a gorgeous baby, Melanie! Very, very cute! (Just like Mommy!) :)
