Long time no post. I only have a few minutes so I'll make it quick. Phoo has a loooong email still in the works w/r/t Max' g-tube surgery, which means I'll skip those details.
Max is doing GREAT. All his barfing issues have disappeared ever since I accidentally forgot to fortify his overnight feedings with Enfacare. The night nurse reported no spitting, no gagging, no upchucking, nothing. So I left it out of his day feedings.... then the next day.... and the next. It has been 6 days now with nary a drop of milk making its way back out (at least through his mouth).
As the picture shows, he's looking so much more like a baby. His bilirubin is dwindling, his cheeks are turning a good pinkish color.
We have two doctors' appointments tomorrow. First with his pediatrician followed immediately by his surgeon for stitches removal.
