Max is trying out the world without a nasal oxygen cannula. If he can keep his SPO₂ consistently above 92% on his own for a couple of days, he may get to come home without having to wear it. However, we'll need to monitor his SPO₂ after he comes home, and have an oxygen setup there just as a backup.

The tube you still see in the photo is his feeding tube.
