June 19 - Isolation Over!
23:48 - Finally! Max is no longer under contact isolation. No more disposable gowns. No more nitrile gloves. We get to hold him like a real baby! Well, a real baby who's tethered to an oxygen cannula, a feeding tube, an SPO2 sat cuff, and three cardiopulmonary electrodes.
I brought a mirror yesterday, and he's really fascinated with it tonight. He keeps staring the "other baby" in his crib. And now he's even inching his upper body closer to the mirror.
