08:30am -- Melanie here, for the first time. Just spoke with the NICU nurse assigned to Max. He had a good night, confirmed by The Daddy Phoo, who spent a couple of hours with him late yesterday. His CO2 level came down to FIFTY from the EIGHTY NINE it was post-op. If he continues to do well, he'll start back on milk tomorrow. They're doing another blood gas at 09:00 so we'll find out his new CO2 level then. I'm heading to the hospital soon and will update later. Phoo and I decided it was time to post a good picture of our Boy, and this one, which was taken about an hour after the PDA ligation attempt, shows him without his hat and CPAP contraption. Yes, he IS adorable.
He's more than adorable, he's also my grandson and I am proud of that and his parents for such a beautiful baby.
